Grassroots are a performing arts organisation from Bulawayo in Zimbabwe that specialises in Theatre for Development.

Theatr Fforwm Cymru is an educational charity based in Pembrokeshire who use Theatre of the Oppressed and other drama-based techniques to effect change, the Agora Report is a 26 page report accompanied by a DVD to be used to introduce proposals for legislative change that have come about through the legislative theatre event, the Agora. It can also be used to participate in making these proposals a reality. The DVD takes you clearly through the proposals using short documentaries that give each community group involved an opportunity to present the rationale for their proposals, and includes footage from the Legislative theatre pieces from which the proposals have emerged.

A Book of Strategies (Nationwide Informance Tour on Violence Against Women in the Family). Philippine Educational Theater Association members go on a nationwide tour of “Tumawag kay Libby Manaoag,” and meet various women from government and non-government organizations and the community folk who share what they’ve been doing to avert domestic violence.

Based on an expert meeting organised by EUnetART in collaboration with the European Cultural Foundation, this book gives examples of challenging themes used by film makers, youth theatres and children’s museums. The discussion centres on the artist’s responsibility in addressing children and young people on issues such as, AIDS, parents with mental health issues, racism and sexual abuse. In addition the book includes essays on the subject by a sociologist, a politician, a TV maker and a poet.
