Outcomes

Individual Impacts: Family Group Impacts: Community Impacts: Other Impacts: One fiction film (1h 30 min+) is produced in the Khmer language and initial dissemination is implemented on time. Copies and TV broadcast reach over one million people. The outcome expected is the main targeted group becomes receptive to messages geared at it and an enabling environment for behaviour change to take place among the main target group. The movie will also be made with English subtitles for an international audience. An information package is further developed with additional funding from new partners (KHANA UNAIDS, UNICEF) and a proactive dissemination shortly follows initial film launch to effectively reach over 50,000 of the target audiences. Lessons Learned: Problems Encountered: The main external risks for the implementation of the action include accessibility to drug users. It may be difficult to obtain clear information from our target beneficiaries: differing levels of consciousness can have an impact on the information provided.
