Project Focus

To develop new creative ways of bringing attention to the fight against HIV/AIDs. To take the fight against HIV out of the high volume message mediums into the Opera house.

Project Activities

Integrated Dance company, together we will devise a piece of contemporary together with people living with HIV/AIDs. The dance will then be performed to the public at Hanoi Opera House. The performance will be followed by an on stage discussion forum involving the audience and people involved in the devising process.

Individual Impacts: Family Group Impacts: Community Impacts: Other Impacts: The project will involve and reach 30 people living with HIV/AIDs in the Ba Vi Camp 7 hearing impaired dancers People in the disabled community who are who are marginalised Sex workers and drug users from 0506 camps who come to see the performances and watch the vide footage. 1300 people to the Hanoi Opera House will see the dance performance over two evenings. 1300 programmes will be printed explaining the project and how it is being used to tackle the fight against HIV/AIDs. VTV3 will be invited to film the whole performance, subsequently reaching the viewers of this national channel. A press conference will be held before the performance where representatives from over 20 media outlets including press/TV Radio will be invited to meet the togetherhigher dancers and ask questions about the project.
