Project Focus

To involve young people in the HIV/AIDS debate. To use video and drama to produce teaching materials by young people for young people. To work with teenagers in Gambia and the UK to highlight the similarities and differences young people face in issues of sexual health. To have a high profile project that would reach a large audience both in the UK and in Gambia. To use local and national means of distributing the film (e.g. broadcast and local video projections in village halls/squares/schools etc)

Individual Impacts: Individuals experienced different cultures and learnt a lot about each other. Not only did they learn a huge amount about HIV/AIDs, but also about each otherÕs countries and culturesLessons Learned: Give plenty of time for planning and development Problems Encountered: Time- requires a large amount of planning and development especially when working in other countries.
